Seven people were shot and one was killed as Baltimore rang in the new year overnight, Baltimore Police said.

10:03 p.m.
Police responded to the 4500 block of Green Rose Lane to investigate a reported shooting. There, they found a 17-year-old male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Medical officials pronounced him dead on the scene.
Homicide detectives are leading the investigation.
On Jan. 10, 2019, police identified the victim as Corey Moseley.
10:08 p.m.
Officers were called to the 2800 block of Spring Hill Avenue for a reported shooting. When officers arrived, they found a 28-year-old male suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to an area hospital for treatment.

Western District officers were called to investigate a shooting in the 700 block of Whitmore Avenue. On the scene, officers found a 52-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound.
10:12 p.m.
Eastern District officers responded to a call of a reported shooting in the 1300 block of Harford Road. There, officers found two adult males suffering from gunshot wounds.
11:11 p.m.
Officers responded to an area hospital for a report of a walk-in shooting victim. At the hospital, officers found an adult male with a gunshot wound to the arm.
The victim is currently listed in critical condition and unable to inform detectives where the incident occurred.

12:12 a.m.
Reported as the first shooting of 2019. Central District officers were called to the the intersection of Light Street and Lee Street to investigate a shooting.
When officers arrived, they found a 14-year-old male suffering from a graze wound to the head.
The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
1:43 a.m.
Eastern District officers arrived to an area hospital for a report of a walk-in shooting victim. There, they found an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg.
At this time it is unclear where the incident occurred.
