A suspect accused of killing 7-year-old Taylor Hayes has been denied bail.

On Monday, a bail review was held for Keon Gray in Baltimore District Court. Gray was arrested Friday afternoon in Anne Arundel County and was charged in the deadly shooting of the girl.
Hayes was shot on July 5 while sitting in the backseat of a car in Edmondson Village. She was later listed in critical condition and ultimately succumbed to her injuries two weeks later.

Darnell Holmes,33, the driver of the car Hayes was shot in was arrested but was not charged with the shooting. A massive investigation and manhunt then took place to find the killer.
The suspected girlfriend of Gray has also been arrested as an accessory after the fact. Gray who has extensive criminal history, according to court documents, is scheduled to appear in court on September 13.
