Nelson Lamar Pryor, 24, has been charged with first and second degree murder and other serious charges, after a City Watch Operator reported that he observed a male armed with a handgun in the unit block of Custom House Avenue Friday, according to City police.
Police said the suspect attempted to rob a victim in the unit block of Custom House Street. The victim ran and the suspect shot at the victim but missed.
The suspect was apprehended at the corner of Baltimore and Gay Streets. Officers located a black and silver .40 caliber Smith and Wesson handgun, loaded with one round in the chamber and 13 in the magazine in the 400 block of Water Street underneath a parked vehicle.
