A Baltimore City Public Works employee has been charged in the case of a fatal hit and run.
Angelo Laprade, 36, of New Freedom, Pennsylvania is charged with failing to return to the scene of an accident, and failing to exhibit his license to police after an accident involving death.

The truck involved in the incident was identified as a Baltimore City Department of Public Works vacuum vehicle.
Originally, detectives thought the accident occurred due to pedestrian error, but the case remains open until a reenactment of the scene is complete.
