BALTIMORE — Baltimore Police say the AIR Pilot Program has had a direct impact on two investigations.
"While an arrest has been made in the homicide case, a vehicle and person of interest have been identified in the shooting case. Both of these cases are ongoing and we cannot provide any additional information on these specific cases," a spokesperson for Baltimore Police said. "We are currently working with our local research partners in outlining the role that the AIR pilot program has had on these cases and other potential cases."
The program rolled out in early May of this year.
