Baltimore Police identify six recent homicide victims

BALTIMORE — Baltimore Police released the identities of six recent homicide victims Thursday; all six were shot in a four-day period between June 8 and June 12.

On June 8, 37-year-old Derle Brooks was killed in the 900 block of Peach Street.

Two victims were killed on June 9. Terrell Matthews, 34, was killed in the 1500 block of North Stricker Street. Karl Jennings, 26, was killed in the 2300 block of Baker Street.

On June 10, 33-year-old Davone Brooks was killedin the 1600 block of Dundalk Avenue.

Two victims were identified from separate June 12 shootings. Brandon Silver, 22, was killed in the 1400 block of May Court. He was one of several victims from multiple shootings at the Douglas Homes. Taven Lowther, 29, was killed in the 4400 block of Franconia Drive.
