A Baltimore Ravens rookie kicker sustained head injuries while in Baltimore early Saturday morning.

At about 4 a.m., the Baltimore police officers were called to the 2000 block of Boone Street because of an injured person. When they arrived, they found a victim, who was later identified as Kaare Vedvik, suffering from upper body injuries. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Even though the police have not confirmed how his injuries occurred, they did reveal that they are not life-threatening.

Baltimore Ravens issued the following statement about the incident:

“Kaare Vedvik has sustained head injuries and we are monitoring the situation.”

This incident is under investigation.
