Baltimore teen doesn't realize he was shot until nine hours later

Baltimore Police say they are investigating a non-fatal shooting after a 17-year-old male realized he was injured nine hours later after being shot at.

Police say officers were called to the 600 block of N Potomac St in southeast Baltimore at 9:30a.m. Tuesday for the teen suffering from a gunshot wound to the hip; he was taken to an area hospital in stable condition.

He told police he had been a passenger in a car in the area of Eden and Bank St at 12:30 a.m. when an unknown suspect shot at the car. The teen was then driven to the Potomac St location.

Upon realizing he was injured hours later, he called police.
