BPD investigating after two men killed in shootings 11 minutes apart

BALTIMORE (WMAR) — Baltimore City Police are investigating two Tuesday murders that happened 11 minutes apart in opposite parts of the City.

The first incident happened at 11:19 a.m. in the 3800 block of Hayward Avenue in Northwest Baltimore.

Arriving officers found a man suffering from gunshot wounds to the chest.

He was taken to a hospital where he later died.

Not long after, gunshots broke out again, this time in the 2700 block of East Preston Street in the Eastern District.

There police found another adult male victim shot multiple times to the chest.

He too died at an area hospital.

Police haven't released the victim's names or any description of any possible suspects involved.
