BPD Officer released and restricted from using any firearms following bail review

BALTIMORE — The bail review for Baltimore City Police Officer Michael O'Sullivan was held at 3 p.m. on Tuesday.

O'Sullivan, who is being charged with perjury and misconduct, has been suspended with pay.

O'Sullivan was released on his own recognizance and was also restricted from using any type of firearm, once he returns his service weapon.

According to the Baltimore Police Department, he has been a member of the agency since 2000 and was last assigned to the Northern District.

A new trail date has been set for August 21.
