Detectives investigate Saturday evening shooting

Baltimore police are investigating a shooting incident that happened on Saturday evening.

At a little after 5:40 p.m., a concerned citizen called police to the intersection of Pennsylvania Avenue and Roberts Street. When they arrived, officers found a 31-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the face. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

Citywide Shooting detectives were called and took over the investigation and, after searching the area, discovered the crime scene for the shooting was in the 1300 block of Fremont Avenue.
