BALTIMORE — Baltimore Police are now investigating four overnight shootings, one of which put a 15-year-old in the hospital.
The first happened on Friday night, at around 11:20 p.m., when an officer was flagged down by a citizen and told that someone was firing a gun in the area of Mount Holly Street and Cranston Avenue. Officers arrived and began searching the area for not only a gunman, but also for potential witnesses and victims.
A short time later, a 34-year-old man walked into an area hospital seeking treatment for a gunshot wound to his thigh.
Southwest District detectives later found out that the victim was shot during a robbery attempt in the 600 block of Mount Holly Street.
The second shooting, which is also located in the Southwest District, happened at a little before 11:45 p.m. when police were called to the 100 block of South Franklintown Road to investigate a reported shooting.
Officers arrived to find a 31-year-old man, a 44-year-old woman and a 15-year-old boy. All had non-life threatening gunshot wounds. They were all taken to area hospitals for treatment.
Southwest District detectives later found out that the victims were on the porch of a home when they were shot.

The third shooting happened on Saturday morning, at around midnight. Officers were called to an area hospital to investigate a walk-in shooting victim who was seeking treatment. They arrived and found a 32-year-old man suffering from non-life threatening gunshot wounds to both his shoulders.
Shortly, after taking control of the investigation, Eastern District detectives discovered that the victim was shot in the 1400 block of East Preston Street.

The last overnight shooting happened at around 1 a.m. when officers were dispatched to the 2500 block of Terra Firma Road to investigate a reported shooting. Police arrived to the scene and located a 37-year-old man suffering from non-life threatening gunshot wounds.
The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
