BALTIMORE — Four shootings took place on Monday in Baltimore City, three of which happened within an hour of each other.
The first shooting victim was found at a local hospital just after 3 p.m. in North Baltimore. Officers found a 19-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the thigh.
Another shooting victim arrived at a local hospital at 4 p.m. in South Baltimore with a non-life threatening gunshot wound. The victim stated that he was shot between 2 a.m. and 3 a.m. on Monday while on East Patapsco Avenue at 5th Street.
Just before 4:20 p.m., officers in West Baltimore responded to the area of 1400 Fulton Avenue for a shooting and found two men suffering from gunshot wounds to the arms and legs. They were both transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Less than 10 minutes later, officers were notified of a shooting in the area of 1600 Moreland Avenue and found a man suffering from a gunshot wound to the lower back. He was transported to the hospital for treatment.
