BALTIMORE (WMAR) — A 21-year-old man's life was taken by gunfire Tuesday night in Baltimore.
Police say it happened just before 7:30 p.m. in the 1700 block of E. 31st Street in the cities Northeast District.
Arriving officers found Jeremy Thompson at the scene suffering from a gunshot wound to the back. He was transported to an area hospital where he died.
The incident comes on the same day new Baltimore Police Commissioner Michael Harrison was sworn in and less than 24 hours after 18-year-old Taylor Davis was killed in a triple shooting in West Baltimore.
