BALTIMORE — Baltimore Police need help identifying a man they say was involved in an assault and robbery incidenr that happened on July 16.
Police say a 47-year-old woman told them she was walking on the unit block of West Read Street when an unknown man approached her from behind and snatched her purse. During the struggle, the unknown man knocked the woman to the ground. The man later fled from the scene.
Medics responded to the incident and treated the woman's injuries.
Police have now released surveillance pictures of the man they believe to have been involved in the incident. Anyone with information on the identity of the man in this picture is asked to contact Central District detectives at 410-396-2221.
