Man dead after gunshot to his chest in Southeast Baltimore

BALTIMORE, Md. — Baltimore Police are investigating the homicide of a man found shot in the chest in Southeast Baltimore.

Police say officers were called to the 200 block of Douglas Court around 7 p.m. Monday for the reported shooting.

At the scene, officers found 50 year-old Thomas Braxton suffering from a gunshot wound to his chest. Braxton was sent to a local hospital for treatment where he later died.
