BALTIMORE, Md. — Baltimore Police are investigating the homicide of a man that was found shot in a rear alley.
According to police, officers were called to investigate the reported shooting in the rear alley of the 800 block of West Lexington Street on Monday just before 4 p.m.
At the location, officers then found a 32-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds.
Police later identified the man as William A James of Stevens Forest Road in Columbia.
They say the man was transported to University of Maryland Shock Trauma where medical personnel pronounced him dead moments after his arrival.
Homicide detectives responded to the location and assumed control of the investigation.
