Man dead, another shot in the leg in double shooting in Southwest Baltimore

BALTIMORE — Baltimore Police are investigating a double shooting that claimed the life of a man and injured another on Wednesday evening.

Police say officers were called to the 200 block of South Tremont Road around 9:04 p.m for a the reported shooting when they found 24-year-old Joshua Norman with gunshot wounds. Norman was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Officials report that the other man injured was shot in the leg and walked into an area hospital for treatment. Police say his injuries were non-life threatening.
