BALTIMORE (WMAR) — A man is dead and a woman is injured following two separate shootings on Sunday in Baltimore.
Just before 2 p.m., Northern District officers were called to the 5800 block of Halwyn Avenue for a report of an unresponsive male at the location.
Arriving units located the man, who appeared to be suffering from gunshot wounds. Medics pronounced the man dead on the scene.
On April 16, police identified the victim as 60-year-old Ruben Jackson Sr.
About three hours earlier, in the 1000 block of Orleans Street an adult female sustained a gunshot wound to elbow. She was transported to an area hospital.

This latest string of violence comes just one day after seven men were shot in five different incidents throughout Baltimore on Saturday.
