Man hospitalized after Saturday afternoon shooting in Southeast Baltimore

Baltimore police are investigating a shooting that happened in the Southeast District on Saturday afternoon.

At about 12:45 p.m., officers that were on patrol in the 400 block of N. Milton Avenue heard gunshots. A short time later, they were called to an area hospital for a report of a walk-in shooting victim.

When officers arrived to the hospital, they found a 25-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his upper body. Investigators believe that the victim was in the 2400 block of Jefferson Street when he was shot.
