Man in serious condition after being shot in the face early Saturday morning

BALTIMORE — Baltimore Police are investigating two early morning shootings, one of which left a victim in serious condition.

On Saturday, at around 1:40 a.m., officers arrived to the 1700 block of Aliceanna Street for a shooting. Upon their arrival, officers located a 27-year-old man, who was suffering from a gunshot wound to his face. The victim was transported to an area hospital and is currently in serious condition.

Southeast District Shooting detectives are investigating this shooting and, at the moment, have no suspect information or know of any motive.

The second shooting happened a couple hours later at around 8:20 a.m. when officers were called to the 5200 block of Cuthbert Avenue for a shooting.

They arrived to find a 51-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to both legs.

He was transported to an area hospital and is suffering from non-fatal injuries.

The victims says that he was walking in the block when a gray Chrysler 200 drove along side him. Someone inside the vehicle pointed a gun and shot him before the car sped off.
