37-year-old Nathaniel McNight was convicted of First Degree Murder and sentenced to life in prison for the death of Aaron Burrell.

According to officials on January 25, 2015, McKnight arranged a meeting with a woman at a hotel room. He and two other people went inside of a Regal Inn in Rosedale with handguns and the intentions of performing an armed robbery. The men entered the room and confronted the woman who was with Aaron Burrell.

They say Burrell's clothes were removed, his things were taken, and he was beaten multiple times with a gun. Burrell was tied up with a telephone cord and forced on the bed while McKnight proceeded to tie up the woman.

As McKnight and the two men left the room, one of the men shot Burrell in the forehead.

McKnight was convicted by a jury of First Degree Murder and related charges Friday evening. And was sentenced the same day to life without the possibility of parole.
