BALTIMORE, Md. — Baltimore Police are investigating a home invasion robbery incident that left a man shot in a home on Tuesday evening.
Officers say armed suspects entered the home located on the 3500 block of Ash Street demanding money. One of the armed robbers' gun discharged and shot the victim in his torso.
The suspects then fled the scene on foot.
The man was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Moments before this shooting around 7:05 p.m. in West Baltimore, officers were notified of a 30-year-old walk-in shooting victim suffering from a gunshot wound to his stomach. Investigators determined that the man was shot in the 2000 block of West Baltimore Street.
These incident come after a reported shooting left a man shot in the leg in Southwest Baltimore and five men shot in Northwest Baltimore Tuesday afternoon, bringing the total number of shootings on Tuesday to 8 people shot.
