Man shot after trying to intervene in domestic situation in Northeast Baltimore

BALTIMORE — Baltimore Police are investigating a shooting that injured a man while he was trying to step into a domestic situation on Wednesday morning.

Police say officers were originally called to an area hospital for a reported walk in shooting victim when they found a 29-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to his arm. They say the man has been listed in stable condition.

Officials learned through an investigation into the incident, the man was shot by an unknown gunman in the 4300 block of Brehms Lane after he tried to intervene on what he believed was a domestic situation. It was reported that after the victim was shot the unknown shooter fled the scene.
