A man was shot in Baltimore's Hanlon-Longwood neighborhood late Wednesday, Baltimore Police said.
Officers from the Western District responded to the 2800 block of Elgin Avenue around 11:40 p.m. for a reported shooting. Police found a 28-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds to the back.
The man was taken to an area hospital where he is listed in stable condition.
Police believe the man had been walking in the area of Longwood Road and Gywnns Falls Avenue when he was shot. The man then ran to the 2800 block of Elgin Avenue before police were called.
