Man shot in Dunbar, woman dead in house fire among recent homicide victims ID'd

BALTIMORE — Baltimore Police released the identities of five recent homicide victims Thursday morning.

On April 16, 27-year-old Lee McFadden was killed in the 3000 block of Oakley Avenue.

On the same day, Department of Public Works personnel discovered the body of 25-year-old Davon Mayo in the rear of the 2100 block of Mount Holly Street. Mayo had been shot in the head.

On April 17, Keith Mickles was critically injured in a shooting in the 200 block of N. Broadway. He died from his injuries two days later.

On April 22, 37-year-old Larry Matthews was killed in the 1600 block of Cliftview Avenue.

A 50-year-old woman who police originally believed to have died in a house fire in the unit block of S. Morley Street on March 6was later reclassified as a homicide. Police said an autopsy by the Medical Examiner determined Tinesha Young was asphyxiated. Baltimore Police spokesman Jeremy Silbert said police are working with the fire department to determine if the fire was intentionally set.
