Baltimore Police are investigating a shooting after a man was found with a gunshot wound to the hand.
Around 4:40 a.m. Wednesday morning, police were called to the 4500 block of Fiarfax Road for a reported shooting, but when officers got to the scene they could not find a shooting victim.
A short time later, police found a 27-year-old man in the 3300 block of Piedmont Avenue with a gunshot wound to his hand.
The man was taken to the hospital where he was treated for his injuries.
Investigators are working to determine where the shooting occurred. Anyone with information is asked to call detectives from the Citywide Shooting Unit at 410-396-2221.
