Two men, both in their 40s, were shot overnight in Baltimore, police said.
At about 3:40 a.m. Wednesday, patrol officers from the Southeast District responded to the 100 block of North Highland Avenue for a reported shooting in the city's Patterson Park Neighborhood. There, police found a 47-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to his thigh. He was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
About an hour later in the Central District, patrol officers responded to an area hospital for a reported walk-in shooting at 4:42 a.m. There, police found a 43-year-old man with a graze wound to his back.
An early investigation showed the victim was shot in the 800 block of Linden Avenue, in the city's Mount Vernon neighborhood, police said.
