Baltimore Police are investigating a shooting that took place at around 4:25 p.m. on Thursday in the 4100 block of Eierman Avenue.
Upon arrival to the scene, officers found a man suffering from gunshot wounds to the chest and leg.
He was taken to the hospital where his condition is currently unknown.
Preliminary investigation revealed that an officer was driving southbound in the 4300 block of Belair Road, when a suspect approached the victim in the 4100 block of Eierman Avenue, shooting him twice before fleeing the location on foot.
