BALTIMORE — Police say a man was shot in the hand late Wednesday night in Southwest Baltimore.
At a little before 10:30 p.m., patrol officers responded to the 3400 block of Wilkens Avenue for a report of a shooting.
Officers arrived to find a 37-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the hand.
The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
A preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was approached by three unidentified suspects, one of whom was armed with a gun. While attempting to flee the area, the victim was shot in the hand.
