Baltimore Police are investigating the death of a man in the city's Towanda-Grantley neighborhood.
The body of a man in his mid-twenties was found by railroad tracks in a wooded area near the intersection of Oswego Avenue and Towanda Avenue at about 9:30 a.m., police said.
The location is near Towanda Park, a playground, and West Baltimore's Towanda Recreation Center. The public charter school the KIPP Harmony Academy is also nearby.

Homicide detectives have assumed control of the investigation. Foul play is suspected, and detectives are awaiting results of an autopsy.
