Baltimore Police have upgraded a shooting that happened on August 28 in the 100 block of S. Highland Ave. at Mt. Pleasant Ave. to a homicide.
Police responded to the shooting on Monday at about 9:48 p.m. when they discovered 27-year-old Carlos Jones suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Jones was pronounced dead on August 30 at Johns Hopkins Bayview Hospital.
Homicide detectives are working to identify a suspect and determine a motive.
