Two injured in cross-city shootings Wednesday evening

BALTIMORE — Baltimore Police are investigating two shootings that took place across the city Wednesday evening.

The first shooting that took place at around 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday in the 3300 block of Reisterstown Road.

Police found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

About an hour later at around 7:38 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 300 block of Marydell Avenue to investigate a shooting.

Upon arrival, they found a 29-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the abdomen.

He was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
