BALTIMORE — In a violent start to the weekend, a man was shot and killed Friday night in Northwest Baltimore.
Police say they were called for a shooting just after 8 p.m. in the 3700 block of West Forest Park Avenue.
Arriving officers found a 34-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds at the scene.
He was transported to Sinai Hospital where he later died.
Police later identified the victim as local comedian Gerald Edward Brown III.
