Baltimore City Department of Transportation has announced that there will be road closures on N. Howard Street and W. Lexington Street due to a avoid under the roadway at the intersection.

DOT said that the Central Business District. N. Howard Street will be closed between Fayette and Saratoga Streets and W. Lexington will be closed between Eutaw Street and Park Avenue.

Crews are working to investigate the cause of the void and are unable to determine how long these roadways will remain closed.

Motorists traveling in the area are encouraged to use alternate routes away from the closure area to avoid congestion and delays.

While crews repair the roadway, MDOT MTA will temporarily suspend Light RailLink service between the North Avenue and Convention Center stations.

For the time being, commuters will have access to a free bus bridge that has been established to accommodate passengers and will stop at all impacted stations.
