Naked man seen running from home where another man was found dead with an unconscious elderly woman

BALTIMORE (WMAR) — Baltimore Police arrested a naked man Saturday after he was seen by witnesses running from a home where a man was found stabbed to death with a badly injured elderly woman.

It happened just before 1 p.m., when officers were called to a home in the 1800 block of E. Lafayette Avenue to investigate an assault.

Witnesses told officers they saw a naked man running away from the home.

When police went inside the house, they found an unidentified 57-year-old man dead of apparent stab wounds, and an unconscious 75-year-old woman who had been assaulted.

Officers were able to find and take the naked man into custody. Police have not identified the man and, and say he's currently being considered a person of interest.

Baltimore homicide detectives have taken over the case to piece together what happened.

It's unclear if the victims knew the naked man, or how he got into the residence.
