Non-fatal shooting upgraded to homicide after victim dies a day later

BALTIMORE — Police say that a non-fatal shooting has been upgraded to a homicide after the victim dies a day after being shot.

On Monday, at a little after 1:55 P.M., an unknown male was shot in the head in the 2200 block of Ruskin Avenue. The victim was transported to Shock Trauma where he was in critical and unstable condition.

The victim, 21-year-old Preston Rich, Jr., of the 2300 block of Bryant Street, died on Tuesday.
