A Baltimore Police officer who was recently found not guilty of assault has once again been charged for an unrelated crime.
On Tuesday a criminal summons was issued to Kevin Battipaglia.
According to online court records, Battipaglia is charged with one count of malicious destruction of property valued at less than $1,000.
Records show the alleged crime occurred on Sunday, October 28 in Northeast Baltimore.
A hearing has been scheduled for December 10, at 1:30 p.m. at the District Court for Baltimore City located at 1400 E. North Avenue.
No other details on the incident were immediately available.
Earlier this month Battipaglia had his police powers restored after a judge found him not guilty of striking a man with a police baton last Christmas Eve.
