Officials say two men were shot overnight in Baltimore

BALTIMORE — Baltimore Police are investigating two overnight shootings.

The first happened at about 8:20 p.m. Friday, when police were called to the 1700 block of North Fulton Avenue to investigate a reported shooting. When officers arrived, they found a 35-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound. A medic arrived and transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment.

The second shooting happened early Saturday, at about 2:30 a.m., when Southern District officers arrived to the 1100 block of Hanover Street for a report of a shooting. Officers found an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound to the torso.

Like in the first shooting, this victim was taken to an area hospital where his condition is unknown at this time.
