BALTIMORE, Md. — Baltimore Police are investigating a homicide and two double shootings that happened on Wednesday in Baltimore City.
According to police, the first shooting of the day started around midnight as a double shooting involving two men who were shot in their car in East Baltimore.
Officers were originally called to an area hospital for the two men as walk-in shooting victims. And when they arrived, they observed both men ages 29 and 38-years-old suffering from non-life threatening gunshot wounds.

Detectives learned that the men were shot in their car in the 1800 block of Montford Avenue.
About three hours later, officers were called to the 3900 block of Penhurst Avenue for a reported shooting in Northwest Baltimore.
Once at the scene, they found a 39-year-old man with gunshot wounds to his body. The say the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
On April 11, police identified the man as Tyree Lee, of the 3800 block of Dolfield Avenue. Lee was originally shot in the 4600 block of Wallington Avenue. On April 10, police arrested 43-year-old Lorenzo Thomas for the murder.
Northeast district officers were later called to the intersection of 33rd Street and University Parkway for a reported double shooting just a little before 6 p.m.
Officers found both of the men shot inside of a car. The 24-year-old was shot in the arm and the 25-year-old had gunshot wounds to his body.
Police believe the men were in the 3700 block of Yolando Road when they were shot before driving to 33rd Street and University Parkway.
