One dead, another injured in early morning shootings Sunday

BALTIMORE — One person is dead and another is injured after two early morning shootings Sunday.

According to police, at approximately 2:13 A.M., officers responded to the 500 block of Montford Avenue for a shooting.

Upon arrival officers found a man who was suffering from a gunshot wound to the left hip. The victim was transported to an area hospital with a non-life threatening injury.

About 20 minutes later, officers responded to the 3700 block of Boarman Avenue for a male lying in the street.

Upon arrival, officers located 22-year-old Terrico McCain unresponsive suffering from a gunshot wound to his chest. Medics arrived and pronounced him dead at the scene.
