Baltimore City Police are investigating several shootings that led to the death of one person and gunshot injuries of others on Thursday evening.
Police say they are investigating a total of four separate incidents that happened around the hours of 7:30 to 9:20 p.m.
Officers were called to an area hospital for a reported walk-in shooting victim around 7:28 p.m. Upon arrival, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound to the arm.
A few moments later at around 8:30 p.m., investigators were in the 4100 block of Calloway Avenue where they found a man inside a car with a gunshot wound to his chest.
Medics were immediately called to the scene and pronounced the man dead. Police later identified the victim as 23-year-old Christian White.
Then, officers were notified of another walk-in shooting victim at a local hospital. When they arrived, they found a 36-year-old man with a gunshot to his pelvic area.
Officials say that these three incidents are possibly related.
A 7:28 p.m. double shooting is also being investigated by police. The incident happened on the 3700 block of Crestfield Court.
Officers at the scene found two men suffering from gunshot wounds to the buttocks and hands.
They were later transported to an area hospital for their injuries.
