BALTIMORE, Md. — Baltimore Police are investigating a shooting and stabbing incident that happened in East Baltimore Tuesday evening.
Officers were originally called to the 2800 block of Ashland Avenue for a reported shooting when they found a 46-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds.
Police say the man was sent to Johns Hopkins Hospital for treatment, but was later pronounced dead moments after arriving.
Police later identified the man as 46-year-old Robert Richardson. The location of his shooting was revised to the 900 block of N. Kenwood Avenue. Kenwood intersects with Ashland Avenue in the 2800 block.
Subsequently, police reported that two men walked into local hospitals in need of treatment for their wounds. One of the men suffered gunshot wounds, while the other was suffering from stab wounds.
Both of the men sustained their non-life threatening injuries during the shooting incident on Ashland Avenue.
