One dead, five others injured in five Tuesday shootings

Five Tuesday shootings in Baltimore leaves one dead and five others injured.

Police responded at 4 p.m. to the 3700 block of Saint Margaret Street and found a 49-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to the stomach.

The victim was transported to a local hospital where he later died, marking Baltimore's 104th homicide of the year.

Detectives are also investigating four other shootings throughout the City.

Just after 12 noon, a 38-year-old male walked into an area hospital with gunshot wounds.

The victim told police the incident occurred in the 1200 block of Sargeant Street.

At approximately 5:15 p.m.officers were called to the 300 block of S. Stricker Street. There a 28-year-old man was found with a gunshot wound to the leg.

A little more than two hours later a patrolman was approached by an individual reporting a shooting in the 4700 block of York Road. Officers then found a 32-year-old male with gunshots to the body. The victim was transported to an area hospital.

Three hours later, police were dispatched to the 5500 block of Bowleys Lane for a report of shots fired in the area.

Responding units were unable to find any victims at the location. A short time after, an officer observed a single vehicle crash and discovered two 22-year-old shooting victims inside the car. Both were transported to a hospital for treatment.
