Baltimore Police are investigating two shootings and a homicide that all happened on Friday night.
The first to happen was the homicide. At around 7:30 p.m., officers were called to the unit block of N. Abington Avenue for a report of a shooting. When they arrived, they found a 27-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his chest. He was transported to an area hospital where he ended up dying from his injuries.
However, a short time later, a 31-year-old man walked into an area hospital with a gunshot wound to his stomach. He is currently being treated for his injuries and homicide detectives are investigating this incident.
As for the two shootings, the first happened at about 8:20 p.m. when officers were called to an area hospital for a report of a walk-in shooting victim. When officers arrived to the scene, they found a 40-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his arm.
Detectives are currently working on trying to determine where the shooting occurred.
The second shooting happened at about 11 p.m. when Northeast District officers were also called to an area hospital for a report of a walk-in shooting victim. When they arrived to the hospital, they found a 34-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his foot.
Investigators believe the victim was in the 5000 block of Benton Heights Avenue when he was shot.
