One man injured and another dead following two evening shootings

BALTIMORE — One man was injured and another killed late Sunday night in two separate Baltimore shootings.

The homicide happened at around 9:50 p.m. when patrol officers heard gunshots coming from the 500 block of Tunbridge Road. They began to investigate and found a 40-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds to his body.

The victim was taken to an area hospital where he died from his injuries.

The next shooting happened about two hours later when officers were called to the 1900 block of W. Mulberry Street for a report of a shooting.

Officers arrived to find a 22-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his back.

The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
