BALTIMORE — One person is dead and another is injured after two shootings in Baltimore City.
According to police, at approximately 8:12 p.m, officers responded to the intersection of Cherryland and Roundview Road to investigate reported gunfire.
Officers canvassed the area and located a man in the 800 block of Roundview Road suffering from gunshot wounds.
He was transported to an area hospital and pronounced dead by medical personnel.
Detectives arrested 28 year-old Zoey Griffin on Thursday.
Griffin was taken to Central Booking Intake Facility where he has been charged with first degree murder.
About half an hour earlier, Southwest District officers were dispatched to the 2600 block of West Franklin Street to investigate a reported shooting.
When officers arrived at the location they observed a 27 year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds.
The victim was transported to an area hospital for what appeared to be non-fatal gunshot wound injuries.
