Baltimore police arrested a man in Central Park Heights Friday, confiscating drug packing material and a loaded firearm in the process.
A northwest District Action Team and Northwest patrol officers made the arrest during the execution of a search and seizure warrant in the 5100 block of Park Heights Avenue. Omar Abbas, 30, was arrested and transported to Central Booking and Intake Facility where he was charged.
The weapon police confiscated appears to be a long gun, possibly a semi-automatic rifle.
