Baltimore City Police discovered a baby inside a car near the scene of deadly shooting in West Baltimore.
Officers responded to the 2400 block in Reisterstown Road just after 1 p.m. Monday for a report of a shooting.
Police said officers found an unidentified man suffering from multiple gun shot wounds to his body.
The victim was transported to Johns Hopkins Hospital where he later died.
The child was taken to an area hospital as a precaution.
Detectives are actively searching for witnesses and video footage.
