Police investigating two reported shootings in East and Northeast Baltimore

BALTIMORE — Baltimore Police are investigating two reported shootings in the city on Tuesday.

Officers were called to the first shooting around 3:47 p.m on the 500 block of Truesdale Avenue. At the scene, they found a 17-year-old boy with a gunshot wound to his shoulder. The teen was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

About an hour later, Eastern District officers were then called to scene of a shooting on the 2500 block of Garrett Avenue. They found a 55-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his leg. The man was also taken to an area hospital.
